Why is Alexa not responding after I renamed a device?
After renaming your device in any connected home app, you will need to rediscover your device in that app.
I asked Alexa to "turn on my ceiling fan," but it responded that I had multiple devices with the same name.
If you have multiple Alexa-integrated devices in your account, avoid using possessive terms like "my" when giving commands, and instead say "turn on the ceiling fan."
How do I know when I'm connected to my Sofucor ceiling fan through the app?
The icon in the upper right corner of your iOS device will tell you if the fan is connected. A blue icon with a house in it means your iOS device and the fan are on the same network. Green means your device and the fan are connected via a server. A red icon with a Wi-Fi symbol and a circled "X" on top means you are disconnected.
Why can't l find the Sofucor Fan skill on my Amazon Alexa App?
